Lovina (2) → Menjangan/Banyuwedang (2) → Lake Batur (2)
Trace a thermal path through Bali’s quieter corners as you soak in sacred waters, explore forest temples and coral gardens, and savour slow moments from home-cooked Balinese meals to lakeside massages. This is Bali reimagined: restorative, ritual-rich, and steeped in the island’s natural rhythms.
Lovina
On Bali’s tranquil north coast, Lovina is known for calm seas, black volcanic sand, and sunrise dolphin-spotting trips. The atmosphere is more laid-back than the south, with fishing villages, coral reefs, and hot springs tucked into the surrounding hills. Banjar Hot Springs, with its stone-carved dragon spouts and jungle setting, offers a serene bathing experience that has soothed locals for generations. Lovina feels relaxed and authentic — a place to slow down, soak, and connect with Bali’s gentler rhythms.
Banyuwedang
On Bali’s northwest coast, Banyuwedang is a quiet bay framed by mangroves and coral reefs. Its hot springs flow directly into the sea, creating pools rich in minerals said to ease skin and joints. The waters are tucked into a protected cove, with views across to Menjangan Island, a diving paradise in the Bali Barat National Park. Banyuwedang feels hidden and restorative — a spot where hot springs, sea breezes, and untouched nature combine in balance.
Lake Batur
Cradled within a volcanic caldera, Lake Batur is one of Bali’s most dramatic landscapes. Sunrise treks up Mount Batur reveal glowing horizons, while hot springs on the lake’s edge offer soothing soaks with views of water and mountain. Local villages and temples reflect the area’s deep spiritual significance, where volcanic forces are both feared and revered. Lake Batur feels raw and elemental — a place where earth, fire, and water shape the rhythm of experience.
Ubud
Set among rice terraces and river valleys, Ubud is Bali’s cultural heart — a town where art, wellness, and tradition converge. Yoga studios and healing centres line its streets, while surrounding resorts offer jungle-framed spas and infinity pools. Sacred springs and water temples connect bathing to ritual, just as dance performances and craft markets root culture in daily life. Ubud feels both creative and restorative, a place where body and spirit are nourished by nature and tradition.
Day 1. Arrival & North Bali Escape
Arrive in Bali and head straight to the quiet north coast. Your private transfer whisks you away from the bustle, through rice fields and jungle valleys, to your hillside retreat above Lovina. Unpack, unwind, and ease into Bali with a gentle afternoon soak at Banjar Hot Springs, set in tropical gardens.
Day 2. Buddhist Temples, Waterfalls & Cooking Class
Start the day at Brahma Vihara Arama, Bali’s largest Buddhist temple, with hillside views and peaceful meditation halls. From there, explore the nearby Gitgit or Aling-Aling waterfalls, where you can walk or swim.
In the afternoon, take part in a Balinese cooking class at a local home or resort kitchen — learn to make dishes like lawar, sate lilit, and coconut sambal using spices from the garden.
Evening: Optional return to Banjar for a moonlit soak.Day 3. Coastal Villages & Banyuwedang Hot Springs
Check out and travel west along the northern coast toward Banyuwedang Bay. En route, stop at Singaraja’s traditional market or one of the scenic black-sand beaches along the way.
Arrive at your natural spring resort beside the bay and spend the afternoon soaking in the Banyuwedang Hot Springs, with views over mangroves and the ocean. Optional massage or snorkelling in the calm waters of West Bali National Park.
Day 4. Temples & Forest in West Bali National Park
Begin with morning yoga or a spa session, followed by a guided walk in West Bali National Park. Visit the Pulaki Temple, guarded by long-tailed macaques, or snorkel near Menjangan Island, known for vibrant coral gardens and calm currents.
Later, take a dip in the springs and enjoy a slow evening with herbal tea and views over the quiet bay.
Day 5. Into the Highlands & Lake Batur
After breakfast, depart for the highlands of Kintamani. Along the way, stop at a coffee plantation to sample Bali’s famed single-origin beans and lunch in a panoramic café overlooking the rice terraces.
Arrive at Toya Retreat Villa, perched on the edge of Lake Batur, and spend the afternoon soaking in the Toya Devasya hot springs, where steaming pools sit beside the volcanic lake.
Day 6. Sunrise, Steam & Sacred Sites
Wake early for an optional Mount Batur sunrise trek or enjoy a peaceful morning soak as the lake steams in the dawn light. After breakfast, visit the serene Pura Ulun Danu Batur, a sacred temple overlooking the caldera.
Day 7. Departure via Ubud or Airport Transfer
After a final lakeside breakfast and soak, begin your journey back to southern Bali or the airport. Optional cultural stop in Ubud for shopping, temple visits, or lunch in a jungle-view café.
